Leafing Alpaste

In leafing Alpaste, aluminium flakes are arranged in parallel on the surface of coating films as a result of surface tension. This product gives surfaces high levels of glossiness similar to chrome plating. In addition to this characteristic, the high reflectance of coating films due to the leafing effect produces superior rust prevention characteristics. A wide range of product variations are available using a wide variety particle of aluminium flake sizes and blending solvents.

Non-leafing Alpaste

In non-leafing Alpaste, aluminium flakes are uniformly dispersed and arranged in coating films. Because aluminium flakes reflect light through coating films, coating films with characteristic glosses are achieved. A wide variety of glosses are available by controlling the distribution of particle sizes and particle shapes.

Moonlight Silver ®

Moonlight Silver ® is a variety of non-leafing Alpaste. The full exploitation of advanced scaling technology has successfully led to the realization of ultimately thinnedfilm of particles. The thinning of particles reduces unevenness caused by disturbances in particle arrangements in coating films, thereby producing glossiness with fewer irregular reflections and designs which do not display granular textures.

Metasheen ®

Metasheen ® is a pigment employing an aluminium deposited film. Its unique thickness provides color tones similar to plating with less granular texture, and is widely used for printing inks and wheel coatings.

TM series

Special surface treatment series developed for water-based coatings for automobiles. The modification of surface properties improves particle arrangements in coating films, resulting in coating films with high levels of luminance.

TD series

Normal aluminium paste is mixed with mineral spirit, but different solvents can be used upon request. These products can be changed to use solvents for printing ink, acetic ether, IPA or gylcol solvents. Mineral spirit is removed from products in the TD series using a special process in order to prevent remnant odors in printed objects.

FZ series (Type coated with acrylic resin)

The FZ series consists of Alpaste coated with acrylic resin. Coating with acrylic resin enhances chemical resistance, adhesiveness and voltage resistance.

Heterogeneous metal paste (Stainless RFA series)

Stainless steel is made into flakes using the technology for manufacturing aluminium paste. Flaked stainless steel possesses a wide variety of functions which cannot be achieved in a powdered state while maintaining metallic properties.
