In April 2006, Toyo Aluminium Ekco Products Co., Ltd. was formed through a merger of Toyo Ekco Co., Ltd. and Toyo Aluminium Foil Products K.K., two companies with a long and distinguished history of earning customer satisfaction and loyalty by leading their respective markets. Since 1969, comprehensive packaging company Toyo Ekco Co., Ltd. has come out with a range of innovative products using new materials, including aluminium foil containers, principally for food products, and plastic and paper containers. Established in 1976, Toyo Aluminium Foil Products K.K. has developed new products that have made life in the kitchen more comfortable and convenient: from familiar consumer items like cooking foils and foil cases (for individual food portions), to products like gas-appliance mats for laying under portable gas ranges, tempura splatter guards, and gas range protective panels. The wealth of development expertise, technologies, and know-how of these two companies will be used to maximum effect by new company, Toyo Aluminium Ekco Products Co., Ltd., as it works with Toyo Aluminium K.K. to develop products that respond to changing markets and a wide range of consumer needs. |

As an aluminium foil manufacture established in 1911, TOKAI ALUMINUM FOIL CO., Ltd. was the first Japanese firm to succesfully produce machine-rolled aluminium foil. The company has since provided a broad range of aluminium products to meet customer needs in packaging for cigarettes, food, pharmaceuticals, photographic materials and chemical industry products, as well as for electronic devices and building materials. |

Since its establishment in 1966, Toyo Aluminium Shoji K.K. has conducted sales of Toyo Aluminium products, supplide a variety of products to the market-including items developed in-house-handled insurance services and performed a wide range of other trading buisiness activities. in 2008, Toyo Aluminium shoji changed its name to Toyo Tokai Aluminium Hanbai K.K. to coincide with its taking over the processed foil sales business from TOKAI ALUMINUM FOIL CO., Ltd. |
Toyo Aluminium K.K. has further refined aluminium-foil and aluminium-paste manufacturing technologies obtained from the Alcan group and has established its own technologies for laminating and combining aluminium with other materials, and for forming alloys and intermetallic compounds. One of the principal roles we now play is that of offering these industry-standard technologies back to the world. We do so not only by supplying high-quality products from Japan to our overseas customers, but also by entering into technical licensing agreements with overseas firms and by building plants overseas. In this way, we are building a global network which allows us to serve the global market, using our overseas production bases to produce and market products to the world.

Sam-A Aluminium Co., Ltd. was established in 1970 as a joint venture between Korean aluminium-foil processing manufacturer Samjin Aluminium Co., Ltd. and Toyo Aluminium K.K.. A pioneer in Korea's aluminium foil manufacturing industry, Sam-A Aluminium supplies high-quality foil products in a variety of fields, including food-product packaging, pharmaceuticals packaging and electronic equipment. Sam-A Aluminium also manufactures and markets aluminium paste. |
