Lightweight Solar Module

Overview

The Hane® Module is a module designed to be lightweight using our proprietary technology.
Because of its low weight, it can be installed on the roofs of factories, warehouses, and other facilities on which installation had been abandoned due to load-bearing issues.

Overview

  • ・Toyo Aluminium is one of the world’s oldest manufacturers of solar components, with more than 25 years of proven results with the Toyal Solar® backsheet for solar modules and ALSOLAR®, an electrode aluminum paste for the backside of solar cells.Leveraging this know-how, we used our proprietary technology to develop the Hane® Module, a lightweight solar module that is about two-thirds lighter than conventional solar modules. In addition to being lightweight, we placed emphasis on creating a module that is strong and powerful.
  • ・Our general module uses 3.2 mm glass and a backseat, but the Hane® Module uses our company’s proprietary thin glass on the front and reinforcements such as a reinforcement bar on the back to ensure its strength.

10-Year Product Warranty + 20-Year Output Warranty

The Hane® Module comes with a 10-year product warranty and a 20-year output warranty so that you can use it with confidence.

  • Product warranty: Applicable in the event of design, manufacturing, and other defects (mechanical malfunctions that affect the functionality of the product, such as deformation, damage, or rattling caused by defects in the manufacturing process or components) attributable to our company.
  • Output warranty: Applicable in the event that the power of the solar module (Pmax [W]) falls below the lower limit of the maximum power by 90% within 10 years and by 80% within 20 years under the conditions specified in JIS C 8918.

VDE Certified

Our company’s modules are certified by the VDE Testing and Certification Institute, a German certification agency, by conducting safety and reliability tests according to IEC international standards.

  • Low-profile Mount for Flat RoofsThis lightweight mount can easily be installed on flat roofs without the need for anchoring, eliminating potential concerns about leaks caused by rain.
    Despite using an adhesive-based installation method, it has the same Class-S earthquake resistance as systems that use anchoring, ensuring peace of mind even during typhoons and earthquakes.
